  1. As in many things we are reactive rather than proactive. PTSD is one of those reactive incidents. However, this reaction will come in time for many of our soldiers and others suffering from PTSD. Having been in law enforcement for 25 years, a different type of combat, I was also a PTSD person. Now I am helping by developing "Pony Soldiers" an Equine Pychotherapy Project for veterans and their families, founded on research and results. Our model is EAGALA an international military services psychotherapy group. Rescued horses will help rescue vets and their families. I believe this is just the beginning of a more holistic and drug free approach to healing our warriors in need.
