It is an honor to walk in your footsteps, I think that combat environment make us all have a keen interest in the other members of our squad. I would love to have a reunion with my guys.

Peace brother, you have suffered enough in this physical world. Your journey is only beginning, you will be reborn into the spiritual world. I have seen it, let go when it is time, you will know when.

See you on the other side,

ScottScott Leehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17861938200417302754noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8207713177773691778.post-75513689003997017862010-07-30T08:02:45.598-04:002010-07-30T08:02:45.598-04:00Scott,
Am sure you may have guessed where I was go...Scott,
Am sure you may have guessed where I was going with this, am a Veteran of 21+yrs in the US Army. In all my years, esp as an NCO, I have always listened to every single solider under my responsibility. Yeah, sure it was part of my job but honestly, I took a very keen interest in all of my men because they are no different then I was at their age. It was my duty to help them both Morally and Physiologically in dealing with combat.

It is and I hope it's every NCO's mission to take care of their men, both in Peace time and in time of War.

Regrettably, I do not have much time to live and as a STUMBLER on STUMBLEUPON.com, it has been my quest to teach others about HUMANITY. I, too had many demons stashed in my soul but Everyone has to have purpose or we are not worthy to anyone or anything anymore.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8207713177773691778.post-82353191213160526612010-07-29T13:11:43.066-04:002010-07-29T13:11:43.066-04:00Phoenix, I have not came across that information i...Phoenix, I have not came across that information in my research. Although, some research has said that ego formation has much to do with how we will handle traumatic experiences. But, to qualify this research I cannot, we do not have a complete picture of how or who Combat PTSD will inflict itself upon whom. Other research indicates that young men from broken homes will have a more intense post stress response. From my personal account, I do not see these correlations as proof of what some portend as truth.

Combat will change anyone who goes, some for the better and others will become lost within themselves. Then again, many can heal if we listen more than talk.Scott Leehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17861938200417302754noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8207713177773691778.post-10665888558856546632010-07-29T02:52:41.297-04:002010-07-29T02:52:41.297-04:00Scott,

What are the numbers concerning who suffers the most with PTSD, the first timers or the OLD timers ? In all my research and reading regarding those that suffer, they make that info hard to come by.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
