Our Story: Delta Company 6th/6th Infantry, 1st Armored Division

I am looking for members of Delta company, 6th/6th Infantry of the 1st Armored Division and deployed to Operation Desert Storm in 1990-1991.

My name is PFC Scott Lee, I was the driver for Sergeant Dan Tickle and our gunner was Sergeant Otis Banks. If you were a member of Delta Company 6th battalion, 6th Infantry of the 1st Armored Division and deployed to The First Gulf War I would like to get in contact with you.

I am setting up an oral history project to tell our story. We played a pivotal part in the largest tank battle in the history of war and I'd like to share our story.

    I was in the 1-7 B company.we were all in the phantom brigade together.........you guys did a heck of a job securing al bussayya after the attack at daybreak and wow what a wild adventure we had securing victory....the phantom brigade deserves way more credit than we ever have recieved.................thanks.....get the history together

  8. I was in D company 6/6 in Desert Storm I was On The Lt's Bradley with Sgt. Porta . Check out youtube. Ron Whitehead uploaded a video about 6/6 Infantry last month. Sgt.Ski and Traxler are in some of the pictures and you may be there also?

  11. SPC Burris from initially C Co 1/54 (then we became 6/6. Then 3rd BDE HHC for a year as the Air Force ALO driver, and then as HHC 6/6 S3 M577 driver.

I to would love to have history on our units since we de-activated it seems they got rid of all our paperwork somehow. WE are the history or our unit.   20. my name is Spc Tim Schartner "Schrapnel", so many memories. I remember most of you. I'd go see Otis Banks play in his band in Bamberg... wonder if he married that gal? I still have my Greengoose card. I carved my name in the concrete of my NBC room. I've returned to Bamberg a few times... carved my name on the back of a beam in the bathroom of the penthouse suite of the Bamberger hotel. names... Bruce Wall, Ethan smith, Norfleet, sgt Ski, traxler, 1sg cruz, Lt steve, Lt quinn, tarchek, lt brian summers, pvt weller, ssg aquino, ssg crouch, spc pugh, sgt Williams, cpl Williams, sgt haddocks, Tuggle, Sgt todd gray, cpl todd hanses, spc Metcalf, sgt McClelland, sgt golden, cpt james stevens... so many more.
